Weatherwood Stain’s EXTERIOR WATERPROOFER is more than a topcoat, it will protect all Weatherwood stained wood, providing a top of the line exterior wood protection against cupping, splitting, and warping. The best news is, our Exterior Waterproofer doesn't form a film on top of wood, but rather protects wood from the inside.The Waterproofer actually penetrates into the wood and encapsulates wood fibers and forms a water barrier. This allows Weatherwood stained wood to patina and silver out like barnwood. Two coats of waterproofer should be applied to all wood surfaces, especially the ends, to protect 5-7 years.

Our Exterior WaterProofer protects wood from the inside out, that means moisture will sheet off. All sealers darken stained wood, our sealers typically darken the least.
Note: Do not apply over Weatherwood Maintenance Oils, as Exterior WaterProofer must be able to penetrate wood to protect. When using with traditional polymer stains (which we do not sell), you will want to apply the WaterProofer first, then apply the exterior stain or paint overtop of the sealed wood.

USE: SUITABLE FOR USE ON EXTERIOR DECKS, FENCING, SHINGLES, SIDING, SOFFIT, ETC. CARE: Product should be reapplied every 5-7 years, or when water stops beading on the wood.
